About Me

I am an award winning composer based in Liverpool, England, passionate about crafting evocative emotions through music to elevate diverse forms of media.

With a first-class degree in Music and Technology, my extensive experience spans composing for advertising, video games, and animations, fostering strong partnerships along the way. Currently, I'm busy writing original music for some very exciting projects.

In 2021, I was honored with the Award for Best Audio Design at the Norwegian Game Awards. That same year, I joined ‘Kingdom Studios’ as the Music and Sound Lead for ‘DeFi Kingdoms’ composing all in-game music while spearheading sound development.

In 2024, I had the privilege of collaborating with ‘errornogo’ on their official partnership with Atari for the RollerCoaster Tycoon clothing collection ad campaign. My role involved remixing Allister Brimble's original compositions into upbeat music that aligned seamlessly with errornogo's brand identity.

As a freelance composer, I'm always eager to network and establish new relationships. Whether it's a small indie game or a big-budget project, I'm here to provide emotive and evocative music. Don't hesitate to get in touch - I'd love to collaborate with you on your next endeavor!

  • ‘Sam is a gem. He has made several tracks for my game and each of them funky gold, I kid you not. Most people that play the game actually comment on how nice the music is. He's also just great to work with. Communication is easy and quick via Discord. I often give very vague feedback because when it comes to musical terms I'm a simpleton. But he manages to understand my hums and grunts and knows exactly what I mean. Delivery time usually is quite fast too. Some of the bangers he made for my game were completed in not even 2 days. In case the above didn't make it clear enough: I highly recommend working with Sam.’ - Jonathan, ‘Billy Bumbum
